Today’s look was inspired by the makeup used on Cruella De’Vill in the ABC television series Once Upon a Time. Her big bold eyebrows really caught my eye and I wanted to try it out with a twist of my own.
First I applied a shimmery translucent white eyeshadow from the center of my brows going out and down toward the creases.
Next I applied a brighter white just below the outer half of each brow.
To get the bold brows, I started by drawing black shadow from the inside of my brows down to the inner corner of each eye. I used a makeup pencil as my straight edge guide.
Next I used the same black shadow all along my natural brow shape.
Then I drew the outline for my bigger brows.
And filled them in.
Last step with the black shadow was drawing a line beneath my lower lashes and using a smudge tool to soften.
For the lids themselves, I used shades of gray to create a color gradient moving from dark inside to light outside. I started with a nearly navy dark blue-gray in the inner corners.
Above the crease I used a medium steel gray.
Finally, I used the bright white from before on the outer half of each lid. Using my ring finger, I gently smudged the white and navy together to blend at the center.
After completing the lids, I used a fine point eyeliner pen to draw small wings.
Then I used the same eyeliner to draw very small black spots through the white and light gray powder between my brows and creases.
I topped it with mascara and now I’m done.
